(LIDR), a company focused on software-defined, high-performance lidar, announced a strategic partnership with Flasheye, a real-time 3D perception software company, to deliver next-generation safety and autonomy solutions. The collaboration integrates Flasheye’s perception engine into AEye’s recently launched OPTIS platform, creating a unified 3D visual awareness system capable of real-time detection and analysis across multiple industries.
The combined system leverages AEye’s Apollo sensor, able to detect objects at distances up to one kilometer, and Flasheye’s modular edge perception software to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions for airport safety, logistics, transportation, and perimeter security. Early deployments are already underway in real-world environments, underscoring the commercial readiness of the platform.
Shares of AEye traded up 6.81% today following the announcement.
