CoreCivic Representative to Speak During Freed-Hardeman University's ALUMination Day

ALUMination Day is held annually during FHU's Homecoming week and since its inception in 2017, more than 100 alumni have returned to campus to participate.

HENDERSON, Tenn., Oct. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Freed-Hardeman University's annual ALUMination Day, Friday, Nov. 5, will feature a chapel address by Tony Miller, senior director of financial planning and analysis for CoreCivic, the nation's largest owner of partnership correctional, detention and residential reentry facilities.

He earned a B.B.A. from FHU in 1992 and an M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University in 1997. At FHU, Miller was active in social clubs, Sonshine Singers and Makin' Music Show Band. He and his wife Laura have a 5-year-old son, Patch Broderick Miller. The family lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

In addition to Miller, many other alumni will be on campus for the day. They will make presentations to various classes and majors. Since its inception in 2017, more than 100 alumni have returned to campus to participate in ALUMination Day.

ALUMination Day, held annually during FHU's Homecoming week, is hosted by the Division of Academics, the President's Office and the Division of Community Engagement. According to Vice President of Academics C.J. Vires, the event provides an opportunity for current students to interact with successful alumni and learn from their experiences.
